Program Overview

The Advanced Certificate in Forensic Health is a graduate-level program, offered in two versions:

The Advanced Certificate in Forensic Health aims to enhance students’ knowledge of interpersonal violence and its impact on victims and offenders. It is particularly valuable for professionals in nursing, public health, anthropology, public safety, medical examiners’ or coroners’ offices, and probation or parole agencies.

The curriculum covers topics like victim trauma, offender behavior, and healthcare policy, helping students navigate the complexities of the justice system and healthcare settings. The program focuses on providing evidence-based responses to various types of trauma and violence, combining academic theories with practical skills.
