Background
Jun Ryan Carreon joined 亚洲情色's Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in September 2026 as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Nursing.
Carreon has more than a decade of nursing experience across the Philippines, the Sultanate of Oman, and the United States, with clinical expertise in medical-surgical, progressive care, cardiac step-down, telemetry, emergency, psychiatric, and community health nursing.
His diverse clinical and academic background has enabled him to effectively bridge the gap between nursing education and clinical practice, preparing students to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care. He has taught nursing students in classroom, clinical, and simulation settings and has served as a nursing lecturer, clinical instructor, and educator in multiple international settings.
Carreon's scholarship focuses on qualitative research grounded in Parse's Humanbecoming Theory, the transition experiences of internationally educated nurses, and international health policy.
