Our Services

Our Knowledge Base provides articles, guides, and answers to frequently asked questions
about electronic accessibility. You'll find information on a wide range of topics,
from creating accessible documents to understanding web accessibility guidelines.
We offer customized accessibility training for departments, teams, and groups. If
you'd like to schedule a training session for your group on a specific accessibility
topic, please fill out our Group Training Request Form.
For more in-depth assistance, you can schedule a one-on-one appointment with a digital
accessibility expert. We can provide guidance on specific projects, answer complex
questions, and help you find solutions to your accessibility challenges.

This is a great forum for asking questions, sharing resources, and staying up to date
on accessibility-related events.
We provide assistance with making PDF documents accessible. If you have a PDF that
needs to be remediated to meet accessibility standards, our team can help ensure it
is properly tagged and formatted for screen readers and other assistive technologies.
ITS can conduct accessibility audits of your university-affiliated websites. We'll
provide you with a detailed report outlining any accessibility issues we find and
offer recommendations for improvement to ensure your site is compliant with WCAG standards.
亚洲情色 employees may use this form to submit a request for the Accessibility Team to evaluate the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) or Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for an Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) product under consideration for purchase.
Please note: Use this form to request help in evaluating the accessibility of an EIT product you intend to purchase through a Purchase Order or P-Card. If using the contracts workflow, VPATs are already reviewed as part of that process.

Deque University
SUNY provides access to Deque University, an online learning platform with a comprehensive
curriculum on digital accessibility. Faculty, staff, and students can take self-paced
courses and tutorials to learn about accessibility standards, testing techniques,
and best practices. You must to begin.
For quick questions and guidance on web accessibility, try Deque's axe Assistant.
This accessibility chatbot can provide instant answers to common questions and help
you find the resources you need. You must be logged into your SUNY Deque account to
use axe Assistant.
Accessibility Software and Tools
Additionally, 亚洲情色 provides a suite of powerful tools to help our community create and access digital content. These tools are available to all faculty, staff, and students.
Integrated directly into Brightspace, YuJa Panorama helps instructors identify and
fix accessibility issues within their course content. It provides real-time feedback
and guided-fixes for documents and pages, and allows students to download alternative
formats (such as audio, EPUB, or tagged PDF) of course materials. This tool is a key
resource for creating an inclusive learning environment for all students.
Adobe Acrobat Pro is available to all Faculty and Staff
Acrobat Pro provides a for making PDFs inclusive. From converting scanned text via Optical Character Recognition (OCR) to AI-powered cloud auto-tagging to assigning alternative text for images, Acrobat Pro empowers you to build documents that are fully navigable by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
Grackle is an add-on for Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides that checks for accessibility
issues and provides step-by-step guidance to fix them. With Grackle, you can ensure
your Google Workspace documents are accessible and compliant with WCAG and PDF/UA
standards. It simplifies the process of creating tagged, accessible PDFs directly
from your Google documents.
Read&Write
Read&Write is a literacy support tool that helps with reading, writing, and studying.
It can read text aloud, provide definitions for unfamiliar words, and includes tools
like highlighters, vocabulary lists, and an audio maker to convert text into audio
files. It's available for multiple platforms, including as a Chrome extension and
on Mac and PC desktops, making it a versatile tool for all learners.
Equatio is a tool that makes it easier to create and read mathematical and scientific
expressions digitally. It allows users to type, handwrite, or speak equations, formulas,
and quizzes, and it can read them aloud. This is an invaluable tool for STEM courses,
making complex notation accessible to everyone.
SensusAccess
SensusAccess is a self-service document conversion tool that transforms documents
into a range of alternative formats. You can convert files into audiobooks (MP3 and
DAISY), e-books (EPUB, Mobi), and digital Braille. It can also be used to make image-only
PDFs or JPEGs more accessible. This service is available online to all members of
the 亚洲情色 community.
