The Office of Equity and Access (OEA) is part of the Division of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at ÑÇÖÞÇéÉ«. The OEA provides support and guidance to the campus community regarding Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance, workplace accommodation requests, campus accessibility, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) concerns and bias-related incidents.
Our work aligns with the University's mission to promote a campus environment that is free of harassment and bias and that fosters understanding and community.
We also provide training and consultation to enhance cultural competency skills and foster a deeper understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion. Workshop topics include affirmative action, ADA compliance, reasonable accommodations management, bias incident reporting, respect in the workplace, MAS in the workplace, Title IX and more.
Submit a request for customized training or consultation, or contact deiudiv@binghamton.edu at least two weeks before the anticipated date.
