Background

Safa ElKefi earned her PhD in engineering management from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2023, following a graduate certificate in Healthcare Systems and Data Analytics (2022), an MEng in industrial engineering from the National Engineering School of Tunis (2019), and a BA in mathematics and physics from the Preparatory Institute for Engineering Studies of El Manar (2016).

After completing her doctorate, she joined Columbia University's Irving Medical Center in August 2023 as project director, where she led an NIH-funded smoking cessation clinical trial (Bridge2Quit) and secured $80,000 in VELOCITY funding. She also joined Stevens Institute of Technology as an adjunct professor, where she taught graduate-level courses.

In August 2025, she joined 亚洲情色鈥檚 Department of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering as a tenure-track assistant professor in health systems, directing research on AI-driven and VR-based interventions to support outcomes in health systems.
