Apply to Decker's HRSA ANEW Program

亚洲情色's Decker College of Nursing graduate program seeks applicants for the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) ANEW Federal Workforce training grant. Eligible nurse practitioner programs of study are adult-gerontological primary care, community health, family health primary care and family psychiatric mental health.

To be eligible for this funding opportunity, you must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be interested in working in primary care in rural or medically underserved populations after graduation
  • Possess an unencumbered registered nurse license in New York state or Pennsylvania
  • Reside in a rural area of New York state or Pennsylvania
  • Be willing to do all clinical experience in a rural site (660 hours)
  • Be willing to be trained in telehealth and rural sociology
  • Maintain full-time status and a GPA of 3.0 or higher

You may apply for the HRSA ANEW program at any time; however, you must be accepted into the program and have paid your deposit to be accepted for an interview.

STEP 2: Submit the HRSA ANEW Applicant Screening and Personal Statement form

This form requires you to explain your interest in working in a rural or medically underserved primary care clinical setting after graduation. You must also upload a PDF of your r茅sum茅 no greater than 1.0 mb.

Application Review/Interviews

Application review and interviews generally occur in the spring. Applicants are encouraged to check their email for updates. Once applicants are issued a 亚洲情色 email account, that becomes the default account for correspondence. 

Grant Awardee Benefits

Accepted candidates can receive tuition scholarships and/or additional benefits to assist them in achieving their academic goals. During the interview process, applicants will be informed of the benefits, and offer letters will also detail specific benefits.
