Distinguished Writers Series with Alexandra Kleeman

Alexandra Kleeman is the author of the novel聽Something New Under the Sun;听Intimations, a short story collection; and the novel聽You Too Can Have A Body Like Mine, which was awarded the 2016 Bard Fiction Prize and was a New York Times Editor鈥檚 Choice. In 2020, she was awarded the Rome Prize and the Berlin Prize, and was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in Fiction in 2022. Her fiction has been published in the聽New Yorker, the Paris Review, Zoetrope, Conjunctions, and聽Guernica, among other publications, and her other writing has appeared in聽Harper's, the New York Times Magazine, VOGUE, Tin House, n+1, and the聽Guardian. She is an associate professor of English at Cornell University.

Stephanie Burt is a poet, literary critic, Harvard University English professor, and the author of numerous published books, including critical work on poetry and four poetry collections, including her latest,聽We Are Mermaids聽(Graywolf, 2022). Most recently, Burt is the author of聽Taylor鈥檚 Version: The Poetic and Musical Genius of Taylor Swift聽(Basic Books, 2025). The recipient of a 2016 Guggenheim Fellowship, her writing has appeared in the聽New Yorker, the聽New York Times Book Review, the聽London Review of Books, the聽Times Literary Supplement, the聽Believer, the聽Boston Review, and elsewhere. She served as co-editor of poetry for the聽Nation聽from 2017-2020

Nicole Santalucia is the author of the new poetry collection聽Lesbian Dinosaurs / Dinosaur Lesbians聽(Bordighera Press, 2026). Her other collections include聽The Book of Dirt聽(NYQ Books), Spoiled Meat (Headmistress Press), and聽Because I Did Not Die聽(Bordighera Press). Santalucia鈥檚 work has appeared or is forthcoming in the聽Indiana Review, the聽Colorado Review, the Los Angeles Review, the聽North American Review, the聽Rumpus, the聽Normal School, Out Magazine, and elsewhere. She is a professor of English and director of first-year writing at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
