DiDa Minor (General)
The Digital & Data Studies minor requires a total of 24 credits plus a statistics proficiency requirement. This is divided into 3 elective courses and 3 required courses. DiDa minor is open to all students in Harpur College and CCPA.
DiDa Minor (Professional Tracks):
Digital & Data Studies is a very flexible minor that allows students to focus on their interests. ‘Professional Tracks’ are groups of suggested courses within the minor that align well with different career fields. We have many elective options in the minor, and these tracks are intended to help students pick courses that better fit their professional goals and aspirations.
Students are not required to choose a professional track, and taking courses across multiple tracks may be helpful for students who are still exploring career options within DiDa. Students may also change tracks at any time. These are not official and will not show up on a student’s transcript, although we encourage students to put these designations on their resumes (e.g. Minor in Digital and Data Studies with a focus on Data Science and Analytics).
- Data Science and Analytics (Professional Track)
- Web and Interactive Design (Professional Track)
- Digital Communication and Media (Professional Track)
- Digital Humanities (Professional Track)
